Purpose of JobUSAA is currently seeking a talented Business Strategy Analyst I--Omnichannel Sales and Service Performance to work in any of the following locations:
San Antonio Home Office, Plano Campus, Phoenix Campus, Colorado Springs Campus, Tampa Campus, Charlotte Campus or Remote.
The Bank Omnichannel Sales & Service Performance team serves as a central data and analysis resource for multiple units within the Bank Omnichannel group.
We provide analysis supporting Omnichannel strategy and serve as performance analysis concierges for the bank's channels, first-line-of-defense risk & controls, and experience & delivery teams.
We advance the instrumentation, accuracy, and utilization of Omnichannel critical data elements by 1) maintaining oversight and governance of data that drives our channels, ensuring its accuracy and compliance to regulatory requirements, 2) being the single source of truth for omnichannel performance ensuring data consistency, serving all channels that serve our members, 3) developing omnichannel performance reporting and scorecards in an actionable format to execute on the sales and service strategy, and 4) having a deep understanding of channel strategy and delivering insights that help omnichannel leaders and partners effectively deliver a member-focused experience.
Uses quantitative and qualitative analysis to provide thought-leadership on evolving industry trends, market developments, USAA's strategic direction, regulatory environment, and macroeconomic trends for the business unit.
Provides insights and information-based context for key stakeholders in the business unit to effectively manage, influence, and impact line of business strategy.

Responsibilities:
Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.
Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
Follow written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities.
Collaborates with stakeholders to identify key business assumptions and hypotheses around line of business strategy.
Assists experienced Business Strategy Analysts and other subject matter experts with refining hypotheses and identifying business questions to explore further.
Develops the analytical framework and blueprint to answer business questions identified in the business portfolio, product, or member experience.
Collaborates with key stakeholders to evaluate and uncover strategic insights related to Profit & Loss performance including Product Strategy, Pricing, Marketing, Sales, Credit Risk, Distribution Channels, and Member Experience.
Leverages advanced data-driven problem-solving techniques to manipulate and interpret business results.
Translates findings into insights for strategy management and execution.
Prepares materials that help communicate the significance of the strategic insights to senior leaders and other key stakeholders.
May participate in key stakeholder meetings.
Minimum
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science, Finance, Economics or related discipline OR 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree (8 years of experience in lieu of a degree).
4 years of experience in data/analytics, strategy consulting, or directly related functional business experience (i.
e.
P&C, Bank, Finance, etc.
) OR Advanced Degree in Business, Science, Finance, Economics or related discipline and 2 years of experience in data/analytics, strategy consulting, or directly related functional business experience (i.
e.
P&C, Bank, Finance, etc.
)Experience identifying business needs and developing strategic plans driven by qualitative/quantitative analysis and market insights.
Demonstrated experience using data analytics to formulate data-driven insights.
Experience performing data analysis using various data analytics tools (i.
e.

Preferred
Experience:

Compensation:
USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive.
You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position.
The salary range for this position is:
$66,300--119,500 ( this does not include geographic differential it may be applied based on your work location)Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
Geographical Differential:
Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.
Shift premium:
will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.
